Each year EuroPride is held in European cities with strong affiliation and support for the LGBTQ+ community. Malta has long been a champion of LGBTQ+ rights as it has topped the ILGA Rainbow Index for seven consecutive years as the most LGBTQ+ positive country in Europe. As a result, the Maltese capital of Valletta has been chosen to host this year’s EuroPride festival.
