Liverpool (full day)

The iconic city of Liverpool boasts a long and storied history whose influence has been felt across the world. From the famous waterfront to the impressive Liver Building and the renovated Albert Dock, the city holds a wealth of famous landmarks to discover, including locations frequented by The Beatles such as the Cavern Club.

Bowness-on-Windermere, Ambleside & Keswick (full day)

We journey to the Lake District where we stop in bustling Bowness-on-Windermere, a charming enclave on the banks of Lake Windermere, which offers lovely panoramic views of the lake plus plenty of craft and gift shops, lakeside cafés and tea rooms.

Our next stop is the historic town of Ambleside at the head of Lake Windermere. This pretty town‘s heritage is on display everywhere you look and was the source of inspiration for many romantic poets including Keats and Shelley.

Our final stop is the handsome market town of Keswick that sits between peaceful Derwentwater and the looming bulk of Skiddaw, England’s fourth highest mountain. Enjoy the pedestrianised Market Square, browse the unique shops and art galleries, or treat yourself in one of the quaint cafés and restaurants.
